Introduction

Welcome to the Washington State University Department of Chemistry Graduate Program Visitation Day! While this venue cannot replace our usual method of bringing in students for face-to-face visitation, we will do our best to give you as much of a Coug experience as we can.

Below you will find a list of the professors who are hoping to recruit you into their group. Each professor has a link to their faculty profile, a video explaining their research, a zoom link with times available to chat, and a zoom link for a research poster that will be presented by either the professor, their group, or both. Please stop by and chat, ask about their research, and get a feel for what it might be like to be in their group. Even if it isn’t a professor you had previously considered, oftentimes you can find that their research might be of interest to you.

We are here to answer any questions you may have about our program. Please feel free to drop into the zoom links for Dr. Kirk Peterson, Chair of the Department of Chemistry, Dr. Pete Reilly, Associate Chair of the Graduate Program, or Lori Bruce, Administrative Coordinator for the Chemistry Graduate Program at the following times 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM and 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM.

  • Kirk Peterson: 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM and 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM (Zoom Link)
  • Pete Reilly: 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM and 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM (Zoom Link)
  • Lori Bruce: 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM and 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM (Zoom Link)

Please visit the other links and videos meant to provide you with information that would normally be provided during a regular visitation weekend.

Thank you and we are so glad to see you here!
