1. Go to Revvity Signals website (Perkin-Elmer). If that link – which should take you directly to WSU’s license – doesn’t work, go to their list of site licenses and navigate to WSU’s entry.
2. Enter your information and click “Submit”
   
3. If you see a notification like this one, click “Ok”.
   
4. You should receive an email from the company in the next few minutes. Click the link to download ChemDraw.
   
5. Choose a password for your account.
   
6. Use your new password to sign in.
   
7. Click the file named “ChemDraw Professional”
   
8. Choose either the Windows or the Mac version, according to your Operating System.
   Click the download link to the right. DO NOT USE THE “DOWNLOAD SELECTED FILES” BUTTON AT THE BOTTOM. It requires you to install a separate ‘download manager’ which is unreliable at best. 
   
9. Run the file once it’s downloaded. All that’s necessary here is just clicking “Next” until it’s installed. However, instructions are included here:

10. You may or may not be prompted to enter an activation code. If you are, here are Revvity Signals’ instructions on registering:

Windows Installer

1. Open the installer from wherever you saved it on your computer (most likely the Downloads folder)
   
2. Run the installer.
   
3. Accept.
   
4. Click “Next”.
   
5. Scroll to the bottom, accept the terms, and click “Next”.
   
6. Click through the rest of the installer.
   
   
   
   
   
7. You have successfully installed ChemDraw!
8. You may or may not be prompted to enter an activation code. If you are, here are Perkin-Elmer’s instructions on registering:

Mac Installer

1. Open the .dmg file you downloaded.
2. Agree to the terms of the license agreement.
   
3. Drag the files on the left into the folders on the right.
   
4. You should see this loading screen for a few seconds.
   
5. ChemDraw is now in your Applications folder.
