How to Install ChemDoodle For Student Installs (PC)

To access the installer for ChemDoodle you will need to access jukebox via chem-diamond3. Tutorials on how to access chem-diamond3 can be found here. Once you have access to jukebox navigate to the “ChemDoodle” folder.
Once in the ChemDoodle folder navigate to the PC folder if you are using a PC. If you are using a different operating system please refer to one of the other tutorials.
Once in the PC folder double click the “ChemDoodle-windows-8.1.0″ file. This will begin the installation process of the program.
Once the installer starts up click next to continue with the installation.
After hitting next. The installer will ask where the destination folder is. This can be left as it’s default. Click Install to begin installation.
Let the installer run. Then once it is done installing a window will pop up and ask if you would like to start ChemDoodle now. Click “yes” to start the program.
It’ll ask you to accept the license agreement. Click accept to accept the license.
Once you have accepted the site license it will ask you to enter the activation code. In the bottom left corner click on the “I Have a Site License”
Once you have clicked on the web page it will bring you to a site that will ask you to enter your email to receive your activation code. You must use your WSU email to be able to receive a site license. Once your email has been entered your will shortly receive an email.
Open your email in your preferred browser or program. An email from iChemLabs will contain the activation code you need to enter in to activate the program. Enter the code received in the email into the ChemDoodle activation page.
Once you have entered the correct code it will open a thank you page. From here click the open ChemDoodle button.
Now you can start using ChemDoodle!
