Fetch the Driver<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

  1. Connect to Chem-jukebox<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Navigate to the Printer_Drivers > Canon > Windows<\/strong> folder.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Copy the Generic_Plus_UFRII_v2.70_Set-up_x64<\/strong> folder to your computer.\n
      \n
    • This can be done by simply dragging the folder to your desktop or right clicking, copying, then pasting the folder in your desired location (this may take some time).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Once the folder has been copied to your computer. Open the folder and launch the Setup.exe<\/strong> application.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Follow the on-screen instructions in the installation wizard to:\n
        \n
      • Accept the License Agreement<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Choose Custom<\/strong> setup.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Leave Canon Driver Information Assist<\/strong> unticked.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Ensure that Auto Select<\/strong> is ticked.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • In the Printer Information<\/strong> window, Change the name in the Printer Name<\/strong> Field to Chem Canon C5850<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Click Add Port…<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • In the Add Port<\/strong> window, select Standard TCP\/IP Port<\/strong>, then click OK<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Another window will pop up for this part of the configuration process. Click Next<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • In the Printer Name or IP Address<\/strong> field, enter the IP address of 134.121.40.121<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Click Next<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Ensure that the IP address is 134.121.40.121<\/strong>, then click Finish<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • In the Printer Information<\/strong> window, once again make sure that the Port<\/strong> field shows 134.121.40.121<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Click Next<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Make sure that your printer name, configuration profile, and port match the previous options you selected.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Click Start<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Wait for the installation process, this may take some time.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Restart your computer to complete installation.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

        Setup “Hold” printing<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

        You must setup “Hold” printing for this printer as you would with “The Big Ricoh” that is also in Fulmer 305.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        1. Open Settings<\/strong> from the Start Menu<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        2. Navigate to Devices<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        3. Select the Printers & Scanners<\/strong> tab on the left <\/li>\n\n\n\n
        4. Select Chem Canon C5850<\/strong>, then click Manage<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
        5. Click Printing Preferences<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        6. In the new window, select Hold<\/strong> from the Output Method<\/strong> drop-down menu.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        7. Confirm this selection by choosing Yes<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        8. In the Hold Details<\/strong> window, choose User File Name<\/strong>, then click OK<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        9. In the Printing Preferences<\/strong> window, click Apply<\/strong> to save these changes.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

          Access “Hold” prints from the Canon Printer Control Panel<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

          1. Approach the Canon C5850 control panel and log in with your credentials.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          2. Tap the Hold<\/strong> icon.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          3. You will see a list of documents that are available to print.\n

            • Tap the document you want to print.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            • Tap Delete After Printing<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
