It is available for&nbsp;Windows only.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We use a network license. Your PC must be connected to the Internet when you launch MathCAD. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You must&nbsp;connect to <a href=\"https:\/\/its.wsu.edu\/its-services\/globalprotect-vpn\/\">GlobalProtect VPN<\/a>&nbsp;before launching MathCAD if off-campus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We license MathCAD primarily for undergraduates taking physical chemistry courses. Consider&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/chem.wsu.edu\/fulmerit\/matlab\/\">MatLab<\/a>&nbsp;as an alternative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">News<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>11\/2024 \u2014 Mathcad v15 licensing has expired and no longer functions. As a result we have moved to MathCAD Prime v10.  Temporary instructions are located on Chem-Jukebox next to the MathCAD installation directory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>06\/21\/2019 \u2014 Mathcad Express free lifetime licenses available! PTC is offering this version to anyone who wants it. It\u2019s presented as, \u201c\u2026a lighter version of PTC Mathcad 5.0.\u201d So it will have fewer features, but it\u2019s free. You can sign up to get the download at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mathcad.com\/en\/try-and-buy\/mathcad-express-free-download\">PTC Mathcad<\/a>. Please note that this is NOT the version typically used here on campus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>12\/31\/2015 \u2014 Mathcad Prime 3.1 has arrived!
