Fetch the Driver
- Connect to Chem-jukebox.
- Navigate to the Ricoh 8300s Drivers > PC > 1.PCL6V4_Universal_Print-No_Win7 folder.
- Launch the n87160L1.exe application.
- Follow the on-screen instructions in the install wizard to:
- Choose a temporary folder for the Winzip Self-Extractor
- Choose a folder to unzip files to (Desktop recommended)
- Unzip the files
- Run the RV_SETUP.exe application (located on the Desktop or whatever location you chose in step 4).
- Agree to the the End User License Agreement.
- Select a setup method: choose Network.
- Select a device: choose Pro 8300s.
- Install Device Software Manager: Do NOT check the Install Device Software Manager tickbox.
- Click Finish.
Adding User PIN for 305 Ricoh printer
In order to use the Ricoh printer in 305, you must have been granted access and given a PIN. This guide will show you how to add the feature once the printer has already been installed.
- Open the Control Panel from the Start Menu.
- Navigate to Devices and Printers.
- Right-click on PCL6 V4 Driver for Universal Print and select Printing Preferences
- This name may vary depending on what name you gave it. Click on whichever printer is the 305 Ricoh printer.
- Under Job Type select Hold Print.
- Click Details…
- In the Enter User ID field, enter the last 4 digits of your WSU ID.
- Click OK.
- Switch to the Detailed Settings tab. Here you will repeat similar steps from above.
- Under Job Type select Hold Print.
- In the User Code field, enter the last 4 digits of your WSU ID.
- Click Details… and ensure that your WSU ID appears in the Enter User ID field.
- Click OK. You are now ready to print.
