ChemDraw

The chemistry department licenses ChemDraw for the all chemistry faculty, staff, and students at Washington State University. This is an annual license. Each fall, you must install the most recent WSU iteration. If you are faculty, staff, or a graduate student in the chemistry department, Fulmer IT will provide activation. If you are a full-time employee or a student at the University but not in the chemistry department, you must get your annual serial number directly from CambridgeSoft.

Chemdraw is available for faculty, staff and graduate students in chemistry on Windows and OS X.

Register for ChemDraw

  1. Go to Revvity Signals website (Perkin-Elmer). If that link – which should take you directly to WSU’s license – doesn’t work, go to their list of site licenses and navigate to WSU’s entry.
  2. Enter your information and click Submit
  3. An on-screen message will notify you that an email has been sent to you.
  4. When you receive the email, click the link to activate your account.
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions to create a password.
  6. Use your new password to sign in.
  7. In the Product Information section, find the latest version and click the link to download ChemDraw Professional.
  8. On the page that follows, click the link in the File Name column that corresponds to your operating system (Windows or MacOS).
*Note: Do not use the Downloaded Selected Files button at the bottom. This requires you to install a separate download manager, which is unreliable.
  9. Once downloaded, run the application and follow the on-screen instructions in the installation wizard.
