Application Process
Be prepared to submit the following items:
- A personal statement describing your motivations for graduate study towards a PhD, include your research area interests and which WSU faculty you would like to study with. Please include a description of previous jobs and research experience, if applicable. Finally, include where you see yourself after earning your PhD.
- Curriculum Vitae (preferred) or resumé.
- Names and email addresses of three people who are willing to write letters of recommendation for you.
- Transcripts from each post-secondary school attended.
Photocopies are acceptable for initial application review. Official transcripts are required for official admission to WSU. - GRE General Test (optional).
Self-reported/photocopies are acceptable for initial application review. Official scores are required for official admission to WSU. - International students will need to meet English proficiency minimums: TOEFL 80, IELTS 7, or Duolingo 125.
