Biography
Ashlyn Belton was born and raised in Fort Collins, CO. She later moved to Spokane, Washington to attend Whitworth University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. After graduating, Ashlyn spent two years teaching high school science, sharing her enthusiasm for learning and inspiring students in the classroom. Driven to deepen her knowledge and contribute to scientific research, she returned to academia to pursue a Ph.D.
When she is not busy in the lab doing research, Ashlyn loves to hike, ski, and choreograph cheer routines!
