Fetch the Driver

In file Explorer search for the Jukebox server and select the Jukebox folder. Here is how to access the Jukebox server.

1. Once that has been done, go into the “Printer_Drivers” folder.

2. Select Canon

3. Select Windows

4. Copy the “Generic_Plus_UFRII_v2.70_Set-up_x64” folder to your computer.
This can be done by simply dragging the folder to your desktop or right clicking, copying and pasting the folder in your desired location (this may take some time).

5. Once the folder has been copied to your computer. Go into the folder and select the “Setup.exe” file.

6. Click next to start the installation process.

7. Click “Yes” for their license agreement.

8. Make sure you are using the “Custom” setup, then click continue.

9. Click next.

10. Make sure the “Auto Select” box is checked off as shown below and then click next.

11. The name of the printer will show as “Canon Generic Plus UFR II” but you should change it to “Chem Canon C5850”
Once you changed the name click on the “Add Port…” option.

12. A smaller window will pop up and select the “Standard TCP/IP Port” option and then click OK.

13. Another window will pop up for this part of the configuration process. Click next.

14. In the “Printer Name or IP Address box:” enter the IP address of 134.121.40.121
Note: The “Port Name” may be different for you, this will not impact your configuration process.

15. Double check that the IP address is 134.121.40.121 and click finish.

16. Once again make sure that the “Port:” section matches your port name that you have and then click next.

17. Make sure that your printer name, configuration profile, and port match the previous options you selected before clicking the start button.
Once you know that they are correct then proceed by clicking start.

18. Now wait for the installation process, this may take some time.

19. If you are able at this moment, click the “Restart My Computer Now” to fully complete the installation process.

 

 

To make sure that the printer is connected to your computer go to the Windows Icon on the bottom left or by clicking the Windows button on your keyboard.
Then click on settings.

Once you are here click on the “Devices” tab as shown.

On your left hand side click on “Printers & scanners” and you should be able to find “Chem Canon C5850”.

 

 

 

You must setup ”Hold” printing for this printer as you would with ”The Big Ricoh” that is also in Fulmer 305.

1. To enable this for the Chem Canon C5850 you need to first go to settings and go to “Devices”.

2. On your left hand side click on “Printers & scanners” and find “Chem Canon C5850”.

3. Once you found “Chem Canon C5850” you will left click on it then click “Manage”.
Then click on “Printing Preferences” as shown.

4. Once you clicked that you will be met with another window.
Go to “Output Method” and click the drop down arrow and select “Hold” as shown.

5. As you chose “Hold” you will be met with another window and click yes to confirm.

6. Again another window will pop up and this time click on “Use File Name”, this is more convenient since when you go to the printer the name of the file you want to print will show.
Then click “OK”.

7. This window will close and now on the bottom right of the starting window you will need to click “Apply” to confirm all the changes we just covered.

 

Here this will show you how to access your “Hold” prints from he canon printer in Fulmer 305 when you walk up to the control panel.
Log into the printer with the credentials that best suits you. (provided at the printer)

Once logged in find the “Hold” icon, this should be on the first initial page when you log in.

Finally you should see your documents you would like to print.
1. Make sure that you first click on the document you want printed.
2. Make sure to click the “Delete After Printing”.
3. Lastly, you click on “Start Printing” to print your document.
