FulmerIT has VCUs (Video Conferencing Units) available for check out. These VCUs are good for presentations and defenses. There are four units available, three large units and one small unit. To check out a VCU contact FulmerIT at least a week in advance. On the day of the presentation a technician will come assist with setup of the VCU in the desired conference room. If an error is encountered refer to the quick start guide. If the solution is not in the guide feel free to contact us.

In order to schedule a VCU please email us at Chem.FulmerIT.Help@wsu.edu. Please include what VCU, what room, time, and date it will be needed. This will create a ticket in our system. and we will promptly respond back. 

VCU1

Our primary VCU consists of a Dell micro computer and Logitech Brio Ultra web cam attached to a 60 inch television.  The unit is attached to a stand that supplies a mouse and keyboard. The quick start guide can be found attached to the unit. Because the VCU is generally used in 432 for meetings, there is an external USB microphone located in the middle of the desks. To use the external microphone simply plug in the USB onto the computer on the back.

VCU2

VCU2 is our smallest unit. This Unit is a Toshiba All-In-One, which is primarily used for smaller rooms where space is at a premium. The unit has a built in webcam and comes with all of the peripherals needed to be zoom ready.

VCU3

VCU 3 is the only unit located in Troy. The Unit is typically found in G5 and is primarily used in the classroom environment. However, it can also been used for scheduled meetings and defenses. If you would like to reserve the VCU in Troy please see above for additional details.

VCU4

VCU 4 is the primary VCU used for staff and academic meetings. Although it is often stored in 101, we have the ability to transport it to other classrooms such as 428. If you would like to reserve the VCU please see above for additional details.
