Installing Adobe Acrobat

Adobe Acrobat (or simply Acrobat) is available as simply the Acrobat Reader and also as Acrobat Pro. The former (Reader) allows read-only access to PDF files and is a FREE download from adobe.com. The latter (Pro) allows for both reading and writing so you can create, edit, and sign PDFs, and is a paid application.

12-1-2022 – Updated instructions for Installing the new Creative Cloud based version of Adobe Acrobat Pro are now ONLINE!
The links below now go directly to the updated installation/uninstallation tutorials.

11-20-2019 – We have a new version now, Acrobat DC. The previous version will reportedly begin to break, either reporting that the license has expired or that the software has had some sort of error. For that reason it is important that anyone with the previous version (Acrobat XI) upgrade with the new installer.
