Installing ChemDraw on OS X

Obtain the ChemBioDraw installation package.

• If you are faculty, staff or a graduate student in chemistry, browse to the jukebox shared folder on chem-diamond3. Open the ChemOffice folder.
• If you are faculty, staff, graduate student or an undergraduate student, and you are not in chemistry, register at CambridgeSoft and download the installation package.

1. Double click the disk image (cdpf16.0.1.dmg) to mount the installation package. Accept the license.
   
2. The installation application will open a form. Drag the ChemBioDraw icon onto the Applications folder icon.
   
3. Watch the progress bar.
4. Launch ChemBioDraw. You will have to activate the application.
   1. If you are in chemistry, open RegistrationCodes.txt in the Jukebox folder. The text file has the serial number and registration code.
   2. If you are not in chemistry, use the serial number and registration code provided when you registered at cambridgesoft.com.

   
   Installation should now be complete!
